The Contented Town of Euphoria

The Contented Town of Euphoria is a small town that follows The Spirit of Christmas through The Gates. It is populated by The Content and is only visible when the aforementioned spirit slows or stops along its journey. While within the borders of this town, the sky becomes dark as though it were nighttime despite the true current time of day. This helps add to the ambience of the town and reinforces the "cozy feel" that it embodies as streetlights and candles are more visible. The soft glow of these lights makes the snow temporary visible as it falls through the air. It was described as follows: “Despite the time of day the area is strangely dark and illuminated only by the gentle glow of street lamps, snow falling to the ground is briefly shown as the light reflects off its diminutive surfaces. Each home has windows that are providing the smallest of glimpses into the “lives” of these spirits and are similarly illuminated by some candle or other fire. It all feels, despite the darkness, very warm as though each individual light is providing some hope or generosity. That they are sharing their light with you, their warmth, and that each is some representation of your own homes that you miss dearly.”

The Contended Town of Euphoria is populated entirely by The Content.

Government

The town appears to lack any form of government, though their entire existance seems to revolve around The Spirit of Christmas. All of the Content here are fully devoted to and consumed by Euphoria.

History

The History of this town is mostly unknown as it is likely just an extension of the spirit at its center. Whether or not it truly has a history is unknown, though some theorize that it used to be a physical town before it was absorbed by and became the spirit. The Spiritual Travelers first encountered it on Nurend 05, 308 while seeking the Spirit of Christmas.

Architecture

The architecture of the town is reminiscent of Victorian England when looking at the larger buildings and strips of taller homes. The smaller homes are simple cottages and cabins, and they all have a very "cozy feel" about them. The soft glow of light from the candles within each home and streetlamps that line the street make it all seem almost picturesque.

Geography

This town normally appears throughout the gate as the Spirit of Christmas slows its pace at various points, and spends most of its temporary and seasonal existance in the Northlands and Mountains. For the first time in centuries, the town has made an appearance in Tympi's Forest due to something interrupting its usual path. The Spiritual Travelers are currently on their way through this town to defeat the Spirit of Christmas and remove it from this forest.
