Tympi's House
Tympi's House was the home of Tympi until 50 years ago when she mysteriously vanished in her forest. It is located in The Hidden Village of Mothlights on the edge of the Residential District and The Meadow.
It was designed to be a place that any being could go to in a time of need or just to socialize as desired. From the windows or deck one has view of The Meadow and the rest of the village which makes for a lovely sight during the evening.
This house was used as a resting place and shelter by The Writer until Tympi was taken by The Unblinking Sein.
Despite Tympi being gone for 50 years it has been well-maintained by some unknown individuals. Who this is or why they are doing it is unknown, though it could be assumed that it is being done by some especially devout mothlings that just want to keep her memory alive, or perhaps want to keep it looking as she left it in case she comes back. That being said, The Spiritual Travelers seem convinced that something else must be responsible for the upkeep. Perhaps a ghost or other type of phantom.
Architecture
Tympi's House is made mostly of Mothlight Tree wood which is either still living and just reshaped from the tree it is built into, or from the planks of some fallen mothlight tree. Considering the supposed sacredness of these trees it is likely that this is a rather rare material to make a building out of. The marbled bark is still visible in some areas, especially where the walls or supports are simply reshaped branches from the tree it was built into.
The building has four sides with four rounded corners. There is a large deck on one of the sides which is covered in potted plants and a few chairs, this deck faces in a direction that allows view of both the meadow and the rest of the village. There are no doors covering the different doorways, no glass covering the windows, but a loose screen does cover the exit to the deck from the living room.
The exterior of the building has large sunflowers bunched into groups of three at each of the rounded corners. Each wall is partially covered in flowers with different shades of purple such as lilacs, lavender, geraniums and so forth. Larger yellow and orange lilies also grow along the walls to somewhat "break up" the purples.
The interior of the building is an open, ranch style, floor plan. The main entryway leads directly to a large area intended for entertaining guests with an easily accessible living area, dining room, and a kitchen with no partitions keeping all activity easily viewable. This way conversation could be carried out without any interruption as the host prepares drinks or snacks. Attached to this large main area is a hallway leading to the smaller rooms of the house including a guestroom, storage, and a room dedicated to Tympi's crafts such as botany, apothecary, as well as a map which she used to plan search patterns, defenses, communication, trade routes, and so forth.

Living Area
Lumped into this area is the dining room which has no items of note besides an intricately carved table and chairs set. The living area also has some gorgeous furniture arranged for ideal comfort while conversing. This living space also has a well-crafted coffee table with a piece of notebook paper that had been undisturbed for decades as it had quite a large amount of dust piled up ontop of it. This notebook page had doodles of Tympi and a Poem on the back dedicated to Anise. There is a painting which nearly covers the wall adjacent to the Hallway leading to the rest of the house. This painting is of the village at night with different mothlings floating about, lanterns dimly lighting different homes, and a bloomed flower for each mothling present. An exit out onto a deck is visible in this room and covered with a fine mesh screen. Outside there are several different potted plants which look well cared for and a few chairs.Kitchen
The kitchen, most notably, contains a lot of food and ingredients. Two shelves going up to the ceiling covered in jars with different powders (seasoning and baking ingredients), beans, noodles, flakes (seasonings like pepper flakes, dried onion, etc), cereals (granola, oats). It also has access to utensils, cooking implements like pans, spoons, spatulas, etc, as well as bowls and plates. A window attached to the kitchen has a small ledge on the outside and inside which has a variety of different plants, they look like fresh herbs. This kitchen also has the capability to cook items without a source of fire as the Mothling Child, Cali, was able to boil spaghetti on a slab of some stone material just by resting the pan on its surface. Learning how this works could be useful for the Spiritual Travelers.Hallway
The hallway in Tympi's House provides access to the rooms that are otherwise separated from the house. There are two doors on the right: One leading to the Guestroom and one at the end of the hall leading to a sort of magical crafting room. A door on the left and at the end of the hall leads to a storage area which contains larger sections of textiles, gardening tools, fertilizer, bottles of alcoholic beverages, teas and so forth. This hallway also contains three paintings: The first painting visible is of Tympi, the second is of Tympi and another faerie-like woman with monarch butterfly features, and an old hag-like woman with a trio of horns around her head which seem to be coming from a headdress. This woman is also wearing primal clothing complete with bones, feathers and various roots. She is at the center of the painting with Tympi and the butterfly person on either side of her. The last painting is of a group of jellyfish floating over a river somewhere.Magical Crafts Room
This room is designed in such a way that sunlight is constantly reaching as much of the room as possible to allow the experimental plants inside access to said light. There are screens and covered areas that are dedicated to plants that need more shade and to prevent the sunlight from reaching these plants when needed. Potted plants cover most of the room, but there is space reserved for a map on one wall along with a central table with strange symbols carved into the surface. This table has a mortar and pestel, several jars filled with unknown powders, seeds, leaves and other components ideal for apothecary work. Along the back of the table is a curved countertop with four flowers. Three of the flowers are bloomed and from left to right appear to be getting larger, brighter, and more full of petals. The fourth flower on the far right has yet to bloom, unusual. This table also has a large drawer which contains a quill, some old fountain pens with different animals painted on them, a stack of loose paper and a Journal which was taken by DAN. The Map that covers one of the walls in this room is an incredibly detailed rendition of Tympi's Forest. Locations of different mothlight trees and civilizations are marked along with darkened out portions which Agave suggests likely are the "points she can't see" based on what Tympi said in the vision. Thanks to several pins and a circle around one of the areas the location of where she was last searching for Anise was deduced.
