Pike's Bay Magisterium
A large complex that deals in all things magic, located near the center of Pike's Bay.
Purpose / Function
The center of magic learning and research in the Eastern Territory, the Magisterium houses a great deal of magical practitioners. The building has a large open entrance with three wings attached. In the center is a long staircase that leads to the second through thirteenth floors, each with their own wings. The first floor has facilities open to the public. The second through tenth floors are each dedicated to a school of magic, both for research and education. The tenth through thirteenth floors are dormitory and living facilities for current students.
Architecture
The building is built of polished and decoratively carved white stone. Each floor dedicated to a school of magic has colored carpets in the middle of the hallways, adding both visual flair and color coordination.
Defenses
Nearly every researcher, teacher, and student has some form of offensive magic available. Large living statues called the Auditors are present on each floor, and are incredibly dangerous to anyone deemed a threat by a Magician Judge. The entrance area and teleportation rooms have built-in Dispel Illusion glyphs, preventing minor illusory items and spells from functioning.
The Battle Mages operate here, a group of highly trained warriors with magic abilities.
Tourism
The teleporters are frequently used by wealthier visitors from mainland Andricum.
