Mjoll

Mjoll (pronounced / mijəl / ME YOL) is a female Half-Ogre, and worked as the impromptu bouncer of The Spyglass Tavern, though she made her money by fighting in the tavern basement's fighting ring.

Description

Mjoll stands at around 7'5" and is heavily muscled, she is of a yellowish-beige complexion with hair of raven black. She wears a number of braids and decorations in her hair. She often wears a combination of leather and hide armour along with a large red tunic, bracers, wristwraps, an off-white knee skirt, and footwraps.

Recent history

Until Ches of 1496 DR Mjoll was working with a Zakharan betting agent known as Wasseem, who took and managed bets for the fighting ring in the basement of The Spyglass Tavern. Mjoll's aptitude for fighting led to Wasseem setting bets on her at painfully low returns, incentivising betters not to put their money on the favourite. This was disturbed when in an extremely close match up between Mjoll and a Goliath challenger led to Mjoll's defeat and Wasseem's financial ruin; while Mjoll enjoyed this greatly, Wasseem was less than impressed and while cursing the Goliath and his losses declared that Mjoll was on her own. The Goliath challenger, Nostag Gumeel, having just exited the tavern to notice their conversation, approached Wasseem from behind and threw the man into the harbor. Nostag invited Mjoll to join his cohorts and told her where to find their ship, after some convincing Mjoll accepted, and joined the crew.
