From the information gained by Reya Mantlemorn, the group went to the Vanathampurs estate to find it empty, but several witnesses could corroborate the presence of Thavius Kreeg, the head of faith that Reya was seeking. Using their contacts with the city guard they located another estate belonging to the family, located not far from the old crater were Elturel once existed. Having traveled their, they found the ruins run over by undead, those who couldnt escape to Baldurs gate had gone to their estate in search of safety, but never returned. The group infiltrated the manor posing as prospect cult members, and was brought into the inner dungeon underneath it.
When within the dungeon, the group found a great laboratory, utilising the refugees they were conducting live experiments upon them, injecting a enigmatic solution into them. Seemingly able to cause their death, as well as highly contagious. After a large scuffle, the group decided that the wisest move would be burning the place down. Hopefully in so doing stopping the contagion from escape the confines of the dungeon and threatening the many lives that existed outside of its walls.
The group also found Thavius Kreeg, the old head of faith that Reya was seeking, the man certainly was involved in whatever was happening here, but more so he seemed to have some personal responsability to what had happened to the city. Taking the relic he was cradeling the man was killed, leaving behind a grave warning of dark times yet to come.
The group had recovered the relic of Thavius Kreeg, that appeared to hold some relevance to the dissapearance of the city. In order to uncover its secrets, the group once more set out towards Baldur's Gate in order to identify it.
