Upon arrival on Low Lantern tavern the group was strangely enough expected. The host of the bar was welcomming, inviting them to the third floor of the boat the tavern was located on, wherein a scruptious feast had been prepared for the group to celebrate the birthday of one of their members. Filzen Zauath had been given a birthday feast, though the benefactor and host of the party was never revealed to the group.

After a night of intensive partying, the group awoke. Slightly hungover to the loud ramblings of a man comming from above deck. This was their target Amrik Vanthampur who was complaining to the proprietor that his usual spot, the cabin they had rented, was being used by someone else. The group questioned Amrik, while not learning alot from him personally, it was clear that the Vanthampur family was involved somehow.

Upon Exiting the Low Lantern Inn, the group encountered a tired and ruggid warrior heralding from Elturel, Reya Mantlemorn who had been near the city when it vanished. Who had come to the city to search for the head of their faith who had been seen with the Vanthampurs.

Having traveled their, they found the ruins run over by undead, those who couldnt escape to Baldurs gate had gone to their estate in search of safety, but never returned. The group infiltrated the manor posing as prospect cult members, and was brought into the inner dungeon underneath it.

When within the dungeon, the group found a great laboratory, utilising the refugees they were conducting live experiments upon them, injecting a enigmatic solution into them. Seemingly able to cause their death, as well as highly contagious. After a large scuffle, the group decided that the wisest move would be burning the place down. Hopefully in so doing stopping the contagion from escape the confines of the dungeon and threatening the many lives that existed outside of its walls.

The group also found Thavius Kreeg, the old head of faith that Reya was seeking, the man certainly was involved in whatever was happening here, but more so he seemed to have some personal responsability to what had happened to the city. Taking the relic he was cradeling the man was killed, leaving behind a grave warning of dark times yet to come.

The group had recovered the relic of Thavius Kreeg, that appeared to hold some relevance to the dissapearance of the city. In order to uncover its secrets, the group once more set out towards Baldur's Gate in order to identify it.

Being highly contagious, the group did their best to treat those they could see who were infected but it was impossible to tell the extent the plague had spread.

Lacking another recourse, the group notified the city guard, instructing them to setup a quarantine area and to attempt to contain the spread, lest it consume the city before they became aware of its pressence. The city was swift and ruthless in its actions, shutting out those infected from the city.

This plague would later be felt throughout faerun as the graves filled with the bodies of its victims.
