Description
Nepos is a wild fighter when drawn into combat. He resists the killing blow unless he has to, but if he has to, he is relentless.
1/day: Call Storm:
A storm cloud appears in the shape of a cylinder that is 10 feet tall with a 60-foot radius, centered on a point Nepos can see within range directly above him. The spell fails if he can't see a point in the air where the storm cloud could appear (for example, if he is in a room that can't accommodate the cloud).
When he casts the spell, he choose a point he can see under the cloud. A bolt of lightning flashes down from the cloud to that point. Each creature within 5 feet of that point must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 16 (3d10) 3d10 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. On each of his turns until the spell ends, he can use his action to call down lightning in this way again, targeting the same point or a different one.
If he is outdoors in stormy conditions when he casts this spell, the spell gives him control over the existing storm instead of creating a new one. Under such conditions, the spell's damage increases to 21 (4d10) 4d10 .
Rage: On Nepos' turn, he can enter a rage as a bonus action. While raging, he gains the following benefits, as long as he isn't wearing heavy armor.
- He has advantage on Strength checks and Strength saves.
- When he makes a melee weapon attack using Strength, he gains a +4 to the damage roll.
- He has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and physical damage.
- If he can cast spells, he can't cast them or concentrate on them while raging.
- He emanates a stormy, magical aura while raging. The aura extends 10 feet from him in every direction, but not through total cover. Nepos can choose one other creature he can see in his aura. The target must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. The target takes 12 (3d6+4) 3d6+4 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This effect can be activated again on each of his turns as a bonus action.
- Nepos can extend his lightning resistance to creatures he chooses within 10 ft. of himself
- When Nepos hits a creature within 10 ft. of himself, he can use his reaction to force that creature to make a DC 17 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is knocked prone.
- If he drops to 0 hit points and doesn't die outright, he can make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. If he succeeds. he drops to 1 hit point instead. Each time he uses this feature after the first. the DC increases by 5. When he finishes a short or long rest, the DC resets to 10.
His rage lasts 1 minute. It ends early if he is knocked unconscious or if he ends it as a bonus action.
Reckless Attack: He can throw aside all concern for defense to attack with fierce desperation. When he makes his first attack on his turn, he can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives him advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against him have advantage until his next turn.
Danger Sense: He has an uncanny sense of when things nearby aren't as they should be, giving him an edge when he dodges away from danger. He has advantage on Dexterity saving throws against effects that he can see, such as traps and spells. To gain this benefit, he can't be blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.
Feral Instincts: Nepos' instincts are so honed that he has advantage on initiative rolls. Additionally, if he is surprised at the beginning of combat and isn't incapacitated, he can act normally on his first turn, but only if he enters into a rage before doing anything else on that turn.
Storm Soul: Nepos has resistance to lightning damage, and can breathe underwater. He has a swimming speed of 30 ft.
Brutal Critical: Nepos rolls five dice when he lands a critical strike instead of two.
Indomitable Might: If Nepos' total for a Strength check is less than his Strength score, he can use that score in place of the total.

- If Nepos can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language he understands, he can interpret their words by reading their lips.
- He has a +5 bonus to his passive Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) scores.
Great Weapon Master
- On his turn, when he scores a critical hit with a melee weapon or reduces a creature to 0 hit points with one, he can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action.
- Before he makes a melee attack, he can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If he does so and the attack hits, it deals +10 damage.

Greataxe Strikes: Nepos lashes out with two concurrent swings of his greataxe. Melee Weapon Attack +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 or 2 targets. On a hit: 7 (1d10+3) 1d10+3 slashing damage.
Shortbow: Nepos fires from his shortbow. Ranged Weapon attack +10 to hit, range 80/320 ft., 1 or 2 targets. On a hit: 6 (1d6+4) 1d6+4 piercing damage.
Shortsword: Nepos stabs with his shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack + 10 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 or 2 targets. On a hit: 6 (1d6+4) 1d6+4 piercing damage.
