The famed Champion of Dunekeep is once again endeavoring to protect the land of Cetan.

Nepos is a native of the Marbled Bay, living in Dunekeep and on the surrounding seas for most of his long life. Nepos made his way as a criminal, a bandit, a pirate, a privateer, and, later, a savior of the city state and the most well known member of the Shipdown Council.
 
Growing up during the worst of the austerity during the Second Divine March, Nepos grew an intense hatred of Argent, the instigators of the financial precarity, starvation, and illness that defined his youth. Well into adulthood during the Third Divine March of 593 AA, Nepos helped defend the city of Dunekeep, narrowly dying during the fighting.
 
Later, with the help of his criminal contacts and adventurers from the Actor's Guild and with resources from the Shipdown Council, Nepos lead a covert campaign in Argent to disrupt their military operations. During this, he and his party stumbled upon the secrets of the espionage that had lead to the death of the Heirophant Charendra Kaseen, which had predicated the war.
 
Nepos brought to light the truth of the Heirophant's death, who had been assassinated by her Argentain rivals, not radical Duners as was previously thought. Though he demurs, he is credited with the leadership, cunning, and luck that lead to the end of the war, and, ultimately, the signing of the Cetan Concordant, which ensured a period of peace in the region unseen for centuries.
