The Origins of Sinistria

They say that once there were five Elephants standing on the back of The Great A'Graethan, but that the fifth lost it's footing, tumbling through the cosmos on an unstable orbit, before plunging to earth in an unholy cacophony of light and sound. They say that this unprecedented astra-zoological event devastated the wildlife of the disk, that many of the numerous species of gigantic lizards and other such creatures went extinct, and that the destruction of all life upon the disc's surface was prevented if only by the terrific aim of this unnamed titan, who managed to adjust his trajectory just enough as to avoid hitting any of the more interesting continents. They say that the unfortunate pachyderm hurtled downward, meeting it's doom in a vast azure ocean, and as such, after millions of years of sediment, plate movements, and some rather determined worms, the continent of Sinistria came to be. Then again, 'they' say that dogs can't look up, so perhaps take it with a pinch of salt.
