    Ancient Settons colonise Sinistria
    Population Migration / Travel

Approximately 2000 years before the Severance, Ancient Settons crossed the Opal Sea and began colonising the Widdershins edge of the Ferostran Vales, from Vallessia all the way up to the Cauda Archipelego, though there are rumours that they settled in Petrungul and perhaps farther. The Settons tamed the land, clearing the forests and valleys and establishing numerous colonies, eventually settling as far as Porrora, a volcanic island that they turned into a holiday paradise which boasted La Villa Magna: a colossal palace of white stone.

    The First Incursion
    Military action

Wars between planes broke out, centred around the material plane. The fiends of The Nine Hells rose an army to attack the Material Plane through Setton Regis, in order to control the Nexus Porta. Alliances formed between positive and negative planes on either side, though many stayed neutral. War threatened to unravel the fabric of reality. A calamitous power release occurred that devastated the city of Setton Regis killing many of the inhabitants. The original line of kings was lost. The last of the old Kings, King Tempin sacrificed himself, destroyed the Nexus Porta, having ordered the dismantled pieces to be scattered across his empire so they could not be found.

    The Severance
    Disaster / Destruction

Concluding the war of the First Incursion, King Tempin, last of the Old Kings of Setton Regis, destroys the Nexus Porta, the hub of planar travel on the Material Plane. The epicentre of the explosion is seen across the disc in a flash of blinding light. The explosion causes a rift in the barriers between planes, and eventually the region of Infernus begins to merge with The Nine Hells.

    The Setton Withdrawal

Amongst the factionalism and politic following the death of King Tempin, the New Kings allowed the Setton Empire to fall into disarray. After a period of confusion and lack of clear leadership, the Setton Empire all but withdrew from Sinistria, causing their colonised regions to declare independence without much opposition.

    The Spitzevolke Invasion

The Spitzevolke tribes crossed the frozen passage of NördFlur during the immensely cold winter from 512 to 513, landing at Nordhafen. From there they invaded dwarven held territory to the Turnwise at Rodfort - The Red Keep and Widdershins, eventually leading to the formation of the independent state of Jergen. They went as far south as The Fjellvann and The Bergwasser, forming the small settlement of Vorposten just Hubwards of the area where the rivers met at Konigsstadt

    The Koloss Conflict
    Military action

The Spitzevolke, having ruled the region Hubwards of the Dwarven Kingdoms for well over 200 years, had struggled to expand their territory further south due to the strength of Dwarven fortifications in the region. Tensions were no longer as high with the Dwarven territories, though they had continued constructing the Konigsstadt with the hope of making it a home for the disenfranchised Redaxe clan (Given that their haven of Rodfort was no longer under their control), as well has a hub of dwarven community and strength. The Spitzevolke, realising that the land to the Turnwise, Kolosskopf, contained vast swathes of untouched rich and fertile land, decided to begin attempts at colonising a settlement in the Hubwards of the region on the land opposite the Rodfort.   The giants of the area, who had been all but unapproached by outsiders, were immediately angered by this, destroying the settlement, and a number swam across the water to commence an assault on the Rodfort.

The Spitzevolke Expansion / The Great Betrayal

Following the Koloss Conflict, the united Dwarven forces were all but demolished. The Spitzevolke Empire, who had been building up their forces throughout the war with relatively few casualties, took the opportunity to seize land that had previously been held by their dwarven allies before the forces of Kolosskopf ravaged halfway through the continent.   They attacked Konigsstadt from their outpost at Vorposten.   EDIT _ DESCRIBE WHERE THEY HAD TO STOP< DWARVES GETTING STUCK IN CITADELS ETC

    The Kaab Exodus
    Population Migration / Travel

Originally from a region of Lunasia called The Badlands, the Kaab had their origins among the warring Orc, Troll, Ogre, and Goblinoid tribes of the region. For the most part, they were originally independent families, who didn't subscribe to the warlike culture of their homeland. The Badlands was going through a transitional period, with tribes gradually being unified either through surrender or violence, and greater interference from the Turnwise land of Infernus. Simultaneously, word gradually spread of a growing movement of freethinking beings, people who recognised that strength could often come through difference, and cooperation, rather than dominion. This faction came to call themselves the Kaab.   The Kaab saw the cruelty and barbarism of their past culture and decided it was both unsustainable and morally reprehensible, and were well aware of the continent of Sinistria due to tales of raids and acts of piracy the tribes had committed on the Widdershins coast of the continent, particularly around the region of Vallessia.   Amassing on the southern coast of The Badlands, and with the threat of destruction from the warring tribes growing ever nearer, they used their expertise as shipwrights and sailors, to build a fleet, and set sail for Sinistria.   After leaving the Badlands, the Kaab made a dangerous journey along the Rimwards edge of Lunasia, close to the edge of the rim itself, eventually settling in the largely uninhabited island of Petrungul, Rimward/Widdershins of the mainland of Sinistria. There they founded the City of Kaab, in the Hubward/Widdershins coast of the island.
