Revolution
Cipicies II's reign saw a marked rise in republican tendencies after a drought, food shortage and unpopular reform in short order. A charismatic badger named Jacob Cobbler managed to gain enough support to overthrow the king and introduce Convocation, a parliament of the people, which he presided over as President. Richard, the Prince of Callic and Cipicies' firstborn, managed to galvanise the nobility after the reforms began to bite into their rights and restore his father to the throne in 646 AF.
