Forte was long associated with the institution of knighthood, but in an effort to build a common military bond between the nations it was agreed that knighthoods should be extended and offered to all worthy animals in the Great Realm. The samurai of Akanowa continued to be referred to as such, but they accepted the traditional prefix before their name.
