Etsuko of House Komainu joins the Mist King, and is crowned the Queen of the Mists, to act as consort and advisor to the King and the matters of Gods.

During the Mist King's hunt for the pious, entrapped Honjo and use it as leverage to ensure one of these priests joined him. Etusko accepted the deal, ensuring that Honjo was not consumed by the mists, but ensured to strip herself of the knowledge he really desired, which was her work in aiding the ascension of Gods in this New World.   The wording of the deal made, meant there was no breach of oath. The Mist Queen also made a deal with the Free People: Should they aid her in becoming the soul monarch of the mists, she would aid them in the war against the Tor'keth.   The Free People pushed with a great attack against the King and his walkers, in his moment of need he turned to the Queen and a knife was plunged into his chest. To complete her ascension, she guided the Free People to ascension
