Ritah, Child of the Field, The Harvest Princess, The Gentle Rain
Ritah is a childlike goddess, young in both her portrayal and her relative time of appearance in the pantheon. After the sinking of the world and as civilisation began to rebuild, the emergence of a goddess of agriculture for the small communities that had developed was almost a necessity. Though she may be young and less wide-spread than Wa-Sha or Oka, she is no less powerful, due to her stoutly pious followers everywhere crops are grown.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The four crooked notches are known as "Ritah's Hair", and represent heads of wheat or barley swaying in the wind. It is said that Ritah's hair changes with the seasons, and that you'll seldom see her running through the fields because of how she blends in.
