The Orb of Storm and Still is a powerful magical artefact, created before the sinking of the world. Little more is known of its origins, but its power is legendary: control over the weather itself.

History

The Orb of Storm and Still was first discovered in modernity by The Order of Magi in their excavations of The Magi Tower. It is one of the few artefacts whose purpose and operation were understood, and was instrumental in building the infrastructure that exists around the tower that enables docking of ships.
This was shortlived however, as one night in 814AS the orb was stolen, and has never been seen since. Evidence of burglary was clear, but guards saw and heard nothing, and no ships arrived or left.
