Time's Sands

Sett, Primordial for Time's Sands, is one of the major continents of Riven and the second largest. It's located Southeast of Kaliban, South of Typhon, and Southwest of Kano. Sett borders the Veridian, ___, and ___ Oceans. Its regions consist of Naset, Shuala, and Sotek. Naset lies to the Eastern half of the continent. Sotek to the Southwestern peninsula facing the ___ Ocean, and Shuala to the Northeastern peninsula.   Some races that call Sett home are Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Lizardfolk, Dragonborn, Genasi, Halflings, Aarakocra, and Tabaxi. Other races present include Yuan-Ti, Orcs, Goblinoids, Sahaugin, Kobolds, and the Grung.   Naset to the East is home to plains of endless sands. Vast dunes and sparse oases are filled only with ancient temples and tombs. Few actual settlements dot the landscape, the most notable of which being the Citadel of Naset, an ancient metropolis said to have stood strong since the beginning of time itself, even though the Calamity. The Sun Soul, a large sphere of untapped celestial energy, supplies the Empire of Naset with legions of soldiers made entirely of sand to defend the Citadel and neighboring settlements. In recent years, the conflict has broken out as the Southern cities of the Empire seceded into a new organization: The Levantine Dynasty. Focused on the advancement of the arcane through powers unknown to the Empire, they seek to carve a new beginning for Naset from the ancient foundation of the Empire.   Shuala to the Northwest and West is a dense and sprawling jungle, home to exotic wildlife and dangerous creatures that lurk in the brush. Shuala is home to raw elemental energy among its jungles, with some areas being affected so drastically that it resembles a mix of the elemental and material planes. Tall mountains and volcanos, lush jungles and thickets, deep ravines and rivers, the landscape of Shuala shifts as wildly as the elements themselves.   And Sotek to the Southwest, home of the Lizardfolk and consumed by deep jungles, black marshes and sprawling mires. These shores and mires are home to fierce creatures and aberrations, the only safe havens of these lands being the occasional settlement that wards it's outskirts with jade fire and the endless Golden Way, a trade route from Naset to the Sotekan capital of Kurokan.   The continent of Sett is one of mystery and ancient powers, ready for the people of the new world to discover its secrets and sins.
