Garrond's Conquest of The Eastern Highlands
The Conflict
Prelude
Following his exile from Old Astoria, Garrond Lesnik, Kaldari Founding Father rallied a considerable number of loyalist followers and lead them on a great expedition across the continent of Alwaus. Reading of distant lands to the east that were free of both immortal and Astorian influence, Garrond and his followers had hoped for a new world where they could find opportunities that were not present in Astoria. Unfortunately for Garrond's Expedition, the lands they eventually settled in were already home to humans - a collection of tribal cultures that were collectively called "Rodnoy".
Deployment
Unable to settle for the unbroken and dangerous wilderness of the highlands, and unwilling to bend the knee and join with one of the various tribal Kzars, Garrond instead waged a systematic war of vassalization against the various tribal kingdoms of the Rodnoy.
Battlefield
Beginning in the northwest, Garrond quickly unified his own expedition by quelling a brief fracture in his expedition before turning his attention to the first of the Rodnoy tribes.
Outcome
Outnumbered by a vast scale, Garrond's forces were dominant due to their resilience of arms and armor that was simply beyond anything being produced by the Rodnoy at that time. Additionally, the seasoned campaigns of feudal warfare had honed Garrond and his top generals into what was one of the most advanced organized fighting forces in Altwaus at that time.
Their discipline, tactics, and advanced technology in siegecraft and logistics gave Garrond's Expedition a dominating edge that allowed them to dismantle all but the largest and most motivated of the Rodnoy forces. The conclusion of the conquest started by Garrond (and later finished by his son and grandson) saw the formation of new human kingdom on the far east of the continent. The human species now had an organized cultural and military presence across the entire breadth of the continent.

Aftermath
The assimiliation of the Rodnoy culture into Garrond's Asotiran ancestry resulted in the formation of a hybrid culture called "Kaldari". The same name would eventually be given to the Kingdom itself, as Garrond's visualization of the Rodnoy Kzars ensured that his bloodline would rule over the largest of [The Thirteen Kingdoms for over two thousand years.

Strength
Approximately 20,000 followed Garrond across Altwaus and survived to reach the highlands. Only a portion of these were fighters however, and the number was later bolstered by the vassalization of the various Kzar tribal forces.
The Rodnoy tribes are believed to have numbered around 500,000 of which only a portion could serve as warriors.
This number was divided across the various tribal kingdoms that made up Rodnoy culture in the highlands, and the Rodnoy were never able to wield more than a fraction of this number against Garrond.

Objectives
The conquering of The Kaldari Highlands and subjugation of the Rodnoy kzars.
Each of the Kzars intended to withstand Garrond's invasion of their lands and take advantage of the chaos to gain the upper hand over their Rodnoy rivals.
