Bêxuròtu
The capital of the Pereqaian Alliance and the place where the Treaty of the Tribes was forged.
History
Originally, this settlement was the capital of the Fêd'èra Tribe. Its strategic location on the river made it a central hub for trade with not only Qùgpêtia's nations, but also several tribes on the other side of the Niuculol Sea.
In the year 1 FGZ, emissaries from several tribes on Qùgêzuia arrived, bringing terrible news about a powerful enemy from the west. The Fêd'èran High Chieftain was deeply troubled by their reports, especially since similar rumors were already coming in from the lands north of the Gonietet River. So he sent out messengers to the leaders of three more allied tribes, asking them to send representatives for discussing the common threat. Together, they agreed on what is known as the "Treaty of the Tribes".
Nowadays Bêxuròtu is an independent city and home to the Tribal Council which oversees the Pereqaian Alliance. The ruling family of the Fêd'èra Tribe now resides in a city further down the river.
Tourism
The river brings not only goods from the northern and eastern tribes, but also travellers of all kinds. Many scholars are drawn to the comprehensive scientific libraries and historical archives, while other people come here to experience the cultural variety. There are restaurants for nearly every cuisine in the Pereqaian alliance, museums showcasing the different tribes' art forms and concert halls providing music for every taste.
Architecture
Bêxuròtu is built into the forest, with stairs spiraling up the ancient trees and bridges spanning between them. The houses, platforms and walkways are made of wood and metal. The old buildings in the city center tend to be rounded with steeply angled roofs, whereas the outer districts show a dazzling variety of architectural styles.
To the north of the city, several stone piers form a riverside port.
Geography
Bêxuròtu is located in a lush jungle on the southern shore of the Gonietet River.
Natural Resources
The jungle provides wood, huntable animals and various fruits to the city's population. The river is rich in fish.
I love the description of the architecture of the city. Sounds like it'd be a fascinating place to walk through.
