Shared customary codes and values

Nèmtode highly value sacrifice for the good of others. However, they would never force this upon an individual, because doing so would be selfish behavior and quite the opposite of this ideal. To be meaningful, such sacrifice must be initiated voluntarily by the person in question.   Excessive physical force is frowned upon. Most people from the Nèmto tribe prefer more elegant, strategic approaches in anything from warfare to sports and engineering.

Common Etiquette rules

Everyone is free to speak their mind and make requests, but whether anything comes from it is entirely up to the addressed. Following up one's demands with violence is a major taboo, as is repaying the attacker in kind.

Common Dress code

Living in a desert region near the equator, the Nèmto wear single layers of light clothing during the day and multiple layers during the nights. Both men and women tend to wear ankle-length skirts. Intellectual workers combine those with short tunics, while those engaged in physical labor usually go bare-chested.   Hair mostly reaches down to the jawline or shoulders. People of higher social standing can also be seen with longer hair worn up in elaborate styles.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Most tribespeople get a tattoo of the Faces of Belen'a at some point in their life, often in the context of a life-changing event. For example, soldiers often get one upon entering military service, and many civilians choose to have it done when they get married. In any case, it emphasizes one's loyalty to a person, group or cause, and the willingness to make personal sacrifices.

Common Myths and Legends

At the time when the Nimýric Empire invaded Qùgêzuia, the most important military asset of the Nèmtode were the Blades of Darkness. However, after the enemies tried to hunt them down systematically, these highly-trained assassins began to retreat from public view. It is not known whether they still exist at all or disbanded completely.   Nevertheless, members of the Blades continue to be protagonists in contemporary fiction, and there are rumors that they are actively infiltrating the Nimýrité to neutralize the threat from within.
