Between 1407 PN and 1416 PN, Niphéron used to teach astronomy at the University of Ondalin. During that time, he also served as an advisor to the planning of a modern observatory in the nearby Rógyphu Mountains.
The construction of said observatory's buildings was completed in 1416 PN, and Niphéron was given the position of its Head Astronomer. He has been leading this institution ever since.
