The Free Miners
Baron Therman's Free Miners are a group of outlaws, bandits and criminals who have made themselves known through the trafficing of illegal substances. Most often causing carnage in The Crownlands and targetting small travel parties and towns unable to properly defend themselves such as Landelver for extra supplies and to flaunt their power, locals have known to fear them.
In more recent times adventurers or mercenaries have been hired in an attempt to stop the Free Miners but most have failed. Those effected by the Cartel believe that major powers of authority have failed to see the impact that the crime has brought smaller populated towns.
