Her legitimization was a quick and quiet affair, and while she and Arnaud managed to find enough common ground to make the relationship work, she has long held a bitterness in her heart towards the Dillestone line for the way they treated her until she became "useful." With her half-brother Eadvard III looking weaker by the day, Ragonde has been biding her time, waiting to see how the chips fall if and when he declares a new heir. Surely he can't be about to name his own bastard babe Mair Dillestone as his successor?
