Tatcher's Pass

A trade town nestled in the Backbone of Banteave, Tatcher's Pass also hosts hundreds of miners who plumb the depths of the Backbone each day, wresting out the ores that have helped forged the kingdom over the past centuries. Tatcher iron is shipped down from the mountains into the Heartlands, where it is readily devoured by waiting merchants and blacksmiths.

Government

The town of Tatcher's Pass is governed by a triad of burghers. One oversees the patrols that guards the passes leading to Ostamber. A second governs the town's well-being and its citizens, and the third is tasked with maintaining the mine's safety and prosperity. All three answer to the Baron of Tatcher.

Defences

In addition to the natural defences that the mountains provide, Tatcher's Pass is ringed by a palisade wall and warded by heavy gates of stone and iron.

Industry & Trade
