Titania Highmont
Ser Titania Orvetta Highmont- Vellen (a.k.a. The Rose of Summershore)
Bride of Caldas Highmont. Knight of The Calistan Order. Born 1411.
Independent, Wise, Strong. Born to vineyard owners in the Duchy of Summershore , Titania was winning wrestling matches and sparring competitions at county faires when she was as young as sixteen. She was accepted as a squire in the Calistan Order upon her eighteenth birthday, and was knighted two years later. She also met her future husband Caldas shortly before accepting her calling to the Order, and soon moved to Galeste when he inherited the Barony from his parents.
Titania is an avid reader, consuming literature both from Banteave and the Continent. She delights in Norvalled war-sagas, Dunefalli poetry, even Ostamber rhyming tales. As a result, the library she keeps at the seaside castle in Galeste is one of the most extensive in Easthearth, rivalling even the collections in Redehall.
Shortly after being knighted, Titania faced her greatest challenge yet; the Tambar Rebellion. She and her retinue rode off to square off against the uprising without a moment's hesitation, while her husband Caldas stayed behind to ensure the valuable sea port of Galeste remained secure from insurgency. She served well during the campaign, and distinguished herself during the retaking of Risevar Town in the bitter winter of 1439.
