Daughter of Aida Sandoreale and her first husband. Has chosen to retain her original name.
Despises her stepfather Josten for killing her father Mabren in the Circle. Despite both combatants of the duel being sanctioned by the Church, she still regards Josten coldly. Josten is well aware of this, and arranged to have her educated as a ward of House Dillestone in Redehall, far from Barreste.

Vianna has received a fine education as a ward of House Dillestone. Private tutors attend her daily, and she has developed a knack for history, recalling wars and the terms of their treaties in Banteavan history with surprising detail.
Failures & Embarrassments
She was unable to convince her mother to leave Josten after he killed her husband in the Circle. This haunts her to this day, but she has been unable to enact any form of vengeance. Her father remains buried in a paupers grave outside of Redehall City.
