Kek, Primordial God of Darkness
Kek, one of the primordial deities from the Ogdoad "the Eightfold".
In the beginning of the world, the Ogdoad brought fear and terror to the ancient tribes. Kek is the god of darkness, the absence of light. When Amun-Re manifested from Montu's sacrifice, Kek fled into the darkness instead of surrendering his power. When all these new gods transformed the world and brought light upon the land, Kek plotted his revenge. Kek knew that he had to weaken the new gods before he could vanquish them. Being immortal, he has time. He started influencing the mortals in Khemit, luring them away from the gods and starting the Black Tapestry. He then, through his worshipers, sowed discord into the line of Pharaohs. Twice he managed the fate of the ruling Pharaoh and twice he was thwarted by the Architects of Ma'at. But in the long game, the Khemit empire started falling apart.
For a thousand years he wandered the lands and found other mortals with other gods. Through them, he sent influential traders and dreams of conquest. This lead the Hyborians coming to the Lost Lands and conquering Khemet. Black Tapestry operatives helped the Hyborian conquest with the destruction of temples and killing of priests in the conversion of Khemit to the Hyborian gods. For Kek, this then would weaken the god's power. Not wanting the Architects of Ma'at to meddle again, he had his people convinced the residing governor/puppet Pharaoh to lure the remaining architects of Ma'at out of hiding. While the governor under the pretense of treasure, it allowed the Black Tapestry to end the last architect.
Now, even though the Kemitian people are free of the Hyborians, they have forgotten the old gods. The ones that the Hyborians brought, know nothing of Lybnios, so the lands do not recognize their words. Kek is working to build up his power as there is no one to stop him from restoring the old world.

Divine Domains
Kek embodies darkness. Where he walks, the flicker of nearby flames dies to embers. Even the sun will dim, like the heavens became overcast. He feeds on the fear of man as they tread into his realm.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Kek's true form is that of a monsterous Frog/Toad, larger than an elephant. In this form it is said that he can swallow the moon, and bring about eternal darkness.
More often Kek is in a different mystical form when in the world, which is that of a man with a frog's head. This is how the eight fold would meet, and how they faced any challenges to their divine rule.
