Captain Marlow

Capt. Marlow grew in a prominent merchant family in the city of Märchen. As a young man, Marlow joined the Märchen Rangers to fight in the war that was then raging between Märchen and Lanurra. After the war, he decided to stay with the Rangers and was promoted to Lieutenant and stationed at the garrison in the Eastern Reach near the Blue Mountains. Over the years, Marlow continued to move up the ranks and became known for his adherence to honor, integrity, and discipline. After years of continued disillusionment and conflict with Warden Aufseher, Capt. Marlow defected with his Company to northern Tawar where he and his men rebuilt the city of Orod Ladwen. Eventually, he and his men would form the paramilitary guerrilla group, the Posse Liberatus.
