Personal history

Zongshen is was born and rasied in a rural villge in the jungles of Tawar. As a young man, he fell in love with a local farmer's daughter. After learning that Zongshen had gotten his daughter pregnant outside of wedlock, the farmer and several members of the village militia beat Zongshen near the point of death, ultimately castrating him and cutting out his tongue. He was then banished from the village. While begging on the streets of Lang Chai, he met Madam Kamala, who brought him in to work at her brothel.
