Common Etiquette rules

The Hym is considered dangerous and harmful to those around them. They feed off the regret of their victims and torture them into committing actions to further their regret.

Birth & Baptismal Rites

The Hym is born when a Specter is seduced by the chance of crossing over from The Feywild back to the material plane. They are able to do this by preying on and feeding on the regrets of a person. This twists and warps them into a Hym.

Common Taboos

A Hym is able to be repelled or even killed by starving it out. Tricking someone into false regrets that you may later reveal as false to relieve them, will retroactively starve the Hym, casting it out from its host.

Common Myths and Legends

It is said that a Hym haunted one of the Jarls of the Sapphire Isles, driving him to near insanity. Through the combined efforts of the Ascended Heroes and Anna Blackfist, they were able to trick and starve the creature to free its victim.
