Kaz
Kaz was born on southeastern Zarane on Aldas at the height of the spread of Deridah. A childhood friend of Ifrah and son of their village chief, his father was very protective of him after his mother's death. During an adventure beyond the northern mountains with Ifrah, he received what seemed to be a mortal wound from an insectoid monster. Ifrah managed to get him home, but in his rage over what may be the end of his son's life, the village chief banished Ifrah while spending every day trying to keep his son alive.
Nearly a year later, Ifrah returned with the Godkillers and managed to cure Kaz's poisoning, bringing the few survivors from their village onto the hero's ship. Kaz and Ifrah pair bonded and after the end of the war, made a home on Unity and started their family. Their third child and first son was Senu, who was kidnapped by a group of Deridah-worshiping Palico Felis, forcing Kaz and Ifrah to save him.
