History

The Empire was founded many hundred years ago by a group who wandered south in Iocrias looking for a new home. They ended at the peninsula where Nasilah now stands and the man who became its first emperor met with the Roc where the cliffs met the ocean and made a pact. The Roc lent its magical power to the emperor for them to grow strong and protect each other. On that day, the Empire was formed and the Emperor took the title "Heir of Iocrias"
In the coming years the empire expanded and the new emperors added the titles "Keeper of Epochs" when they built the great library of Bajirut, "Lord of the Sea" when they established naval control of the continent, and "Duke of Bhamir" when Bhamir officially signed over its autonomy to the empire.
