Iocrias

Iocrias is a land of harsh weather and harsher lives. The south end of the continent is covered in sand blasted desert and controlled by the Asir people of the Nasir Empire. The emperor not only controls the south, but claims rightful control over the rest of the continent as well. The center of the Iocrias is more friendly in weather but constantly embroiled in conflict. Between the contested ownership between the Nasir Empire and the Skel, who believe the land is not the Asir's to rule, and the bandits from the Whitewall, the only organized place is Bhamir. While it is technically a city owned by the Nasir Empire, it has earned almost complete autonomy under the popular Terrasque Slayer Frane Domus. The north is magically trapped in winter. No one is sure of the reason why. Some say old gods, some say new gods, others say it's an ancient curse, others still say the Skel elders themselves keep it that way. The winter is held back by the enchantments placed in the whitewall and the Earth Spirit Gizmack. Arguably the most important location in Iocrias is The Well. It is the epicenter of all of creation and the first structure created by the primordial gods Alios and Balimor.
