History

The Order of the Hidden Blades is a religious order of assassins. No one knows how their holy contracts are decided, though it is known that they always carry out their marks successfully. They are known to take smaller paid jobs on a volunteer basis as long as it doesn't interfere with their holy marks, though the jobs accepted are up to the personal convictions of the available members.
Their home on the island of Vivo is officially owned by the kingdom of Lelina. They have significant freedoms compared to the rest of the kingdom as they command much respect from its citizens who follow the way of Penance.
In 230 it was revealed that one of the current leaders Colter had replaced the Eye of Finality with a fake replacement when he himself was revealed as the next target. He killed Gralash to cover his tracks and started accepting jobs for pay from officials in Lelina, giving Sam Smorkle a fake contract on Lambert Wilks to cover the true contract on Detland Wilks.
While he was successful at getting Sam to kill Detland, the truth came out and Aria Luxord was able to retake full control over the order as a result, allowing the assassins to continue enacting her true will. They then assisted in taking down the Taken sunbird during the The Battle of The Eridium Spires
