Tandil Eranthur
Tandil has a long history. To explain everything he accomplished would take almost as long as he's been alive, so we'll go over the important parts. He graduated the Arcane University in Liberus as one of its brightest students in history in the same class as Adam Faera and Thaler. He invented greek fire, now a staple seige weapon. He designed several famous ships used during many of the most climactic moments in Lordasan history. He invented the first jointed metal golems, which led to his development of the first bodies of the Soulforged. He was hired by Adam Faera as the head of the industrial sector of Arcadia when his home of Liberus (Titanus at the time) was going through a violent revolution. Faera did his old friend a favor by offering him safe asylum and gainful employment, successfully poaching the top engineer in all of Caeladonia when political tensions were high.
Tandil blames himself for what happened to Faera. He developed a weapon in secret against his better judgement and kept it hidden even from his old friend. Those decisions allowed that weapon to be used to kill him. Tandil upon hearing the news had resolved to take his own life. He hid himself away in his workshop and crudely threw together one last invention, hoping his ingenuity could do him one last service. He sat lined up to its crosshairs and readied himself. Three....two....on- He was interrupted by a knock at the door. Not wanting someone to have to see the moment of his death, he answered. A group of explorers entered, one of the teams his late friend had put together, the ones that would become the Godkillers. They had questions, and he could be of help.
He was instrumental in getting their airship equipped to move through Deridah and outfitting it with the Aether infused material to allow them to strike at the heart of Balimor and when their plan went wrong, assisted in getting the ship able to use Jakki's power to move the entire ship through time.
After the war he and Nozamere worked together in the reconstruction era up until his death.
