The Greatwyrms

Lunar Queen, Vengeance of Karma, Keeper of Time, Warden of the Stars

The Dragon Clans of Caliban boast at least one true dragon resident within the Maw. While each Maw is impressive in its own right, none can stand equal to the might and splendor of the Greatwyrms of Caliban. According to legend, Caliban elevated four personally selected dragons to a status beyond that of Ancients – the highest honor. These chosen wyrms became Greatwyrms, representing a pillar or domain of the Spirit who granted them their elevated status. Currently, there are four Greatwyrms.

Associated Spirit: Caliban, Weaver of Fate.

Auriga Fél

The Bronze Greatwyrm and Warden of the Stars. The young Auriga took his mother, Andromeda's, place after her passing during the Dread King's War. Now well over a millenium old, Auriga guards the entrance to Dragontide Bay and Fél's Hold, the Moon Guard Fortress, that lies within it. He is attended by a retinue of mostly bronze dragonborn. Although mostly a brilliant bronze, the edges of his scales are a dark blue in color, spattered with silver akin to stars. As the youngest Greatwyrm, Auriga often defers to the wisdom and judgment of the other Greatwyrms (now that they are all awake, sane, and no longer trapped in a time bubble). However, he is not afraid to voice his opinion should he think the other three are far too outdated in their thinking.

Ido'Szorszamit

The Black Greatwyrm and the Keeper of Time. You see, time is a tricky thing so why not have fun with it? Well, he certainly was having fun with it until he was trapped in an endless time loop for over 1,000 years. But that's not going to keep Ido down! As one of the more laidback, chaotic, and fun-loving Greatwyrms, Ido tends to not be shackled to the Temple and roams across regions and across time as he pleases. Although sometimes forgetful of his own strength, he gives excellent hugs, provides charming conversation, and, upon request, will supply incredibly cryptic and confusing time-related nonsense.

Kar'Haragja

The White Greatwyrm and Vengeance of Karma. When Philphrosyne fell into a slumber, Kar'Haragja fell into madness. In an effort to not follow his innate creed and seek vengeance upon Caliban for his mate's fate, the White Greatwyrm trapped himself within a blizzard and stewed for over a millenium. Now, he's... mostly fine. As a dragon, Kar is an intimidatingly large white dragon with scales almost as translucent as ice. As a humanoid, he looks far too dainty and prim to be the powerful force of retribution that his title suggests. Tread carefully, while his mind might still not be whole, do not forget that you will reap what you sew tenfold.

Philphrosyne

The Silver Greatwyrm and the Lunar Queen. Philphrosyne is the oldest and largest of the Greatwyrms, informally serving as their leader. Until a century ago, however, the Lunar Queen was in a millenium-long slumber atop Diviner Two's Spire, waiting for the "Moon to emerge from its Temple". Now awake once more, Philphrosyne is a regal wyrm and can be quick to judge. She is incredibly protective of Caliban and takes her duty as Guardian of the Moon very seriously. Beneath her tough exterior, however, the Lunar Queen cares deeply for those around her. Although she and her mate, Kar, have had no children, she considers those within the Temple of Caliban (and Diviner Two) her own.
