Alicia 'The Ghost' Tattersail

Born Alicia Preddy, she is one of the most popular of the three pirate lords. Power-hungry and greedy, she commands one of the largest fleets in the archipelago. She is well known for taking on dangerously reckless raids that seem doomed to failure, yet somehow always snatching victory against all odds. Her nickname is derived from how she manages to always attack unseen and escape suddenly, as if the pirate goddess herself blesses her passage. She rules Santa Quint, the smallest of the three pirate ports, and is captain of the Amnesties Denial.
Tessa was born to a human merchant sailor and an elven prostitute in Eastgate. Her childhood was spent on docks, and she grew up with sea shanties and fabulous tales of adventures. Her career in piracy began when she burgled a smuggler's hidden stash with a yacht stolen off the docks. She captained her first ship at the age of 15, audaciously raiding a trading barge on the Great Amrin River. Three years later, to avoid bounty hunters seeking the price on her head, Tessa left the Amrin Estuary for the Sinnar Ocean. On the way, she raided Khemit liners near Oceanus and Freegate ships and small villages before arriving in the Pirate isles. She had little knowledge of her father but the name 'Heilyn Preddy', in keeping up with bounties on her own head she discovered her father had made a name for himself and wished to rekindle this relationship to further her own means.
Finding the archipelago to her liking, she began making her name, often putting her into conflict with local pirates. Her skulduggery and treachery eventually made her a powerful Captain with a large fleet and the important port city of Quent under her control, but her anti-slavery stance often put her into odds with the others. Her father was a devout worshipper of Besmara, and Alicia quickly became a devout follower of the pirate Goddess.
When the blockade forced the pirates to remain in port, her father turned to drink and died in an unfortunate accident. She quickly took over the city and blamed Bards Gates blockade for his death, using her unbridled fury to launch a series of rapid raids against the blockade and forcing them to withdraw. She changed her name to Alicia Tattersail and earned the nickname 'The Ghost' for her ability to strike silently and quickly.
In 3517 she was assassinated by the Stoneheart Company and her reign ended.
