Bloth maintains an aura as a slick bartender, but this veneer is shed at the first sight of trouble. In the few times a fight has broken out, he jumps behind the bar and cowers, but he denies this ever happened
By the end of the night, Jet has usually slipped off to her private quarters with a guest and it leaves Bloth unsupervised. He is easily goaded into drinking contests, and certain patrons have found it easy to get free drinks out of him. Still, he is generally friendly, and enjoys music and games​.
Bloth was slain after a group of Kuo-Toa arrived from the tunnels under Whiteridge. He and Johann mounted the defense while walking near the tunnel, but were quickly overwhelmed. Aubrin also grabbed her weapon, but was unprepared and fell in the assault, though she survived the attack.
