​Hugh is Gretes husband. He is quiet, talks slowly and always full of advice. He and his wife run the Helgafel stables, and while she can be a bit anti-social, Hugh loves to entertain guests. He regularly goes to the Helgafel Inn to get away from Grete and enjoys singing​, badly.
