Lake Shuma

Lake Shuma About 50 miles northwest of the Gulf of Ur, the steep bank of the River Pykeris has a break on the western side and waters flow into Lake Shuma. The lake’s banks are low enough to allow the water to be used for irrigation, and many fish carried down the Pykeris on its long journey end up in Lake Shuma so some local settlements are able to support themselves by fishing.
