Setesh River

The Setesh River has its origins deep in the Kufa Mountains. Little is known of its source, as anyone wishing to explore it must contend with the humanoids and other monsters of Set’s Kingdom. Legend says that the waters of the river emerge from a cave high on a sheer cliff that is flanked by enormous carven statues of solid gold.   After passing out of the mountains, the Setesh flows east through the verges of the Maighib Desert of northern Qesh, and then north of Meroë, where it joins up with the Stygian River on its way north to Khemit.
