The Fat Grape Inn
As you wade through the wine-smell of the streets of Klimtar, you come across a lonely inn that seems to be the source of the smell. You can already see a number of merchants going inside, and the large sign in front depicting a bundle of grapes leads you to believe that this is an inn. The building itself is about four stories tall and covered in vines, towering over the other small shops and homes in the town, even the ones built into the hillside behind it.
Inside, the smell of wine is very strong, and you suppress a gag. It appears the source is a barrel that has broken on the ground, spilling the sweet-smelling alcohol all over the floor and into the street. You see the older barkeep nursing an injured toe while a few patrons help clean up the mess. Otherwise, this place looks remarkably like the other inns that you've seen in your travels.
Purpose / Function
This building was built to provide the travellers of the Schinter Road with a form of shelter and food for the night. Being a place where alcohol is sold, it is also the only place in town where one can get ahold of the fine wine that the town produces, as much of it is sent out of town.
