Schinter Road

As you travel up into the mountains, the road which you have been traveling over begins to give way to solid stone and gravel. You begin to miss the stone blocks that stood out against the grasses of the plain, even though you occasionally tripped over them.

Purpose / Function

This road was constructed to facilitate travel between the Schinter Valley and the Gratic heartland.

Architecture

The road is built of a simple cobblestone structure that is well-maintained by the Empire's engineers. Unlike the other two main thoroughfares of the realm, the road is not held together with concrete and so its maintenance is regular.

History

The road was constructed not long after the armies of the Empire conquered Schinter during the reign of Fredirk I.
