The Lord's Cup
Even from a distance outside of the city, you can easily see the fancy blue paint and looming structure of the Lord's Cup, the main central inn of the town. Containing small rooms for a very cheap price, the place is well-known to those who travel the paths and rivers of the Deranti Forest. While the rooms downstairs are not commonly available to rent due to meetings of local townsfolk, the rooms upstairs are clean and well-tended.
Purpose / Function
This location is one of the safest and cheapest inns in Ashton, and people who stay here can count on it not to be dangerous and to be available for a very affordable price. Food and drink are also served here, but it is mostly for the guests of the inn and this place is not a tavern by any stretch of the imagination. Groups of adventurers who are looking for more privacy for their conversations can rent out the rooms downstairs where their underground nature soundproofs them considerably, although they are short supply and often already given over.
The rooms are 5sp a night, and each contains enough room for two people.
Food and drink for a night will run around 2sp unless visitors plan on drinking a lot.

Architecture
The building is painted a dark blue colour so that it stands out from the reddish-brown or light brown buildings that surround it. It is also exceptional in its size, nearly equaling the Magistrate's manor in height. Iron lanterns hang out front while a swaying sign gives the name of the establishment.
Inside, the fire is always kept going as it bathes its light over the small wooden tables and chairs and twinkles in the tankards of the few locals who are here to unwind after a hard day in the fields. The rooms are not very large but are well-kempt and clean.
History
The inn has been in the Demónas family since 12 II if the rumours are to be believed. Since then, it has only grown in size and scope, becoming the best-renowned inn in the region. Of particular note are the underground rooms, which are actually a recent addition to the inn, having only been built around twenty-five years ago.
