Vankos Wafora

It all began not long after my marriage. I was, contrary to the rumours, happily married; I had been married to my beloved Vankos Wafora these last seventeen years without major issue, and we had gotten along very well. He is handsome and kind and very trustworthy. I wouldn't change him for the grace of all the Free Ones. But this was when cracks began to form in our relationship, ones i doubt will ever truly heal.   ~It Eats At Our Table

Personal history

Vankos Wafora does not appear in the history books until he marries his wife, Émli Wafora. The rebel's treasonous behaviour began not long after their farm in Viron was burned down by gnolls and she failed to receive recompense from their lord. She began to have thoughts of rebellion, which her husband dutifully reported to Lord Viróna.   When Émli not only evaded capture and killed Lord Viróna to boot, it is said that the pair had one final confrontation where Émli hit him and fled, leaving him alone in the ruins of their farm. Émli herself died before she could confirm this story at her trial in Lerdelore, and after that his story ends.

Morality & Philosophy

It is clear from his actions regarding his wife that Vankos had a very deep connection to authority. While he was often relating and passing on rumours, he always had respect for Lord Viróna and the local guards.
