Cyning Cerdic
Cyning Cerdic is the son of the tyrant High King Vortigern and his Saxon wife Rowena. In 469, Cerdic was sent with his mother to Saxony for safety by the Saxon Cyning Æsc.
In 496 Cerdic arrived in Britain, conquering Hantone in a surprise attack and founding the kingdom of Wessex. Cerdic's people speak gladly of his valor, generosity, and honor.
