Relic

A Relic is a single-use, powerful magical item from an age long past. Identifying the item will determine its magical properties, but will not disclose anything about the crafter, the era the Relic was created in or the purpose for which is was created.
For example, in Session 12 - Hexabeyance, Red found a strange key. Berov cast Identify to determine the key could cast a single-use version of the spell True Strike that was heightened to last for 60 seconds, but didn't learn anything else about the strange flame-like design.
Bhaskar Distan'Vwaje told them the key was from the lost kingdom of Bael Turath, but didn't provide more context. Only research into the ancient kingdom will reveal more.
