Session 48 - Slaad

General Summary

The team caught up with Lat'num Leng | Warforged Artificer and learned about the Ironforge dwarves and their alliance with Sha’sal Khoul gith. Together they fought against the Technovoles and Slaadi, who wanted to overthrow Primus and destroy the plane of Mechanus.
Lat'num also looked into crafting a mechanical arm for S'thom | Grung Gloom Stalker Ranger. It was definately possible, though the process would require 24 hours in one of the cryo pods in the next room. There were 8 pods total. Seven of them were occupied by sleeping dwarves and one was broken and offline. He started the "wake up" process to bring back Deepak. It took an hour. A Half hour later he decided to wake up another dwarf: Aditya.
Meanwhile, Gorgoroth Flamesbreath | Dragonborn Psi Warrior and Ifrit searched the caverns. Ifrit showed Gorgoroth all of the rooms that he'd seen when entering the caverns. There was no sight of Buck and Fremont, who had left in a hurry a couple hours ago.
S'thom stayed with the little dwarven girl who watched Deepak's cryo chamber expectantly. She kinda creeped S'thom out. S'thom searched the cryo pods with Aufklarung. When she shined the lantern's light on the dwarf girl, its True Seeing spell showed that the being wasn't a dwarf child... it was a large, red, froglike creature with fangs and long claws. S'thom shrieked and shut off the light. Ranier cried out and fell in the darkness. The team found that she had been stabbed or clawed in the side.
Deepak awoke but was hangry. He didn't have any information for the team and only wanted to eat and revive the "Guru", Gopal. Deepak was an expert with the computer and programmed the pods to all switch to wake-up mode.
Aditya woke 30 minutes later but was anti-social. No info from her. 30 minutes after that the rest of the crew exited their pods and stood up. There was a consensus of hunger and stiff joints. Gopal called everyone to the dining room where he would answer the party's questions (though foggy-headed).
As they began to eat, Shanti noticed that Deepak had not arrived. The last time someone saw him, he was heading to the privvy. Gopal jumped up suddenly as if he needed to go to the privvy as well. Before he could leave the table, however, Gopal started consulving and spitting up blood. His chest erupted from the inside-out. A tadpole-like creature burst out and skittered under the table and across the room.
