Ba'al

Ba'alNecro is the godlike of Death and first to claim an alchemical element. Ba'alNecro has been known to be the most reclusive of the godlikes, almost exclusively revealing himself to mortals immediately following their death.

Ba'alNecro represents Death and all that comes with it. His power is held over one's transition from life to death as well as what happens after death.

Ba'alNecro's holy symbol is a desert rose, most often worn on the clothes of his followers.

Tenets of Faith

One who follows Ba'alNecro must:
  • Preserve the sanctity of Death
  • Be welcoming to any on the brink of Death
  • Not discriminate against any in need of their services

Holidays

The 1st of Apocalypse is celebrated as the birth of Death, as well as a celebration of those who died in the previous year. This Day of the Dead is known for its traditional festivities, which are mostly celebrated by NecroMaji.

Ba'alNecro wishes only to protect his element and to keep it sacred. Very little happens in the NecroVerse that Ba'alNecro does not know about.

Personal history

Ba'alNecro spent many lonesome centuries in the Hidden Verse as a wanderer in his own home. When the Alchemicals discovered that they could create new elements from their siblings', Ba'alNecro was the first to jump at the opportunity to create a home for himself and his creations, and claimed the first element, Death, for his own.

Ba'alNecro presents most commonly as male.

Morality & Philosophy

Ba'alNecro's morals have been molded by his experiences as a godlike, particularly that of Death. He believes that life is fleeting and should be cherished before its inevitable end.

Taboos

Despite his Verse's strange capability to create undead creatures out of nothing, Ba'alNecro loathes any perversion of cadavers.
