The NecroVerse

The NecroVerse is one of the five primary Verses of the Multiverse, depicted as being in the bottom right corner of the Celestial Pentagon. As the home of the source of Death elemental magic, the NecroVerse has become a mix of barren landscapes with little to no water, though never hot or cold, and rotting swamps filled with the distinct stench of death. Because of the NecroVerse's cutthroat culture and deadly climate, it is obvious how it became the birthplace of ambition.

Geography

The NecroVerse houses several deserts and savannas, the most well known and feared of which called the Wastes of the Condemned. It is also home to many damp swamps and marshes.

Ecosystem Cycles

The NecroVerse is in a constant state of death and decay, with new life springing from the rot just to bring more things to their own end before returning to the fold.

Localized Phenomena

The NecroVerse has the unique phenomenon of materializing soulless "undead" abominations from idle Death in an area. Especially magic-sensitive NecroMaji or NecroDraki can naturally feel this happen within a mile radius as the materialization process takes up a lot of magic from the surrounding area.

Fauna & Flora

Most of the flora in the deserts of the NecroVerse are acclimated to dry weather, including several forms of cacti and thorny brush. As for fauna, there are almost none save for the animals brought in trade from other Verses, but those that can be found in the wild are often very dangerous and not worth hunting. The swamps are a different story, though, often filled with strange flora, such as the reeking flowers, and animals of prey, including the many bugs and alligators.

Natural Resources

The topside of the NecroVerse may be all dried up, but beneath the surface is a wealth of minerals and saturated soil. Additionally, the poisons that can be made from the venom of the fauna sell for a pretty penny, though they are incredibly illegal.

History

After the Great Separation, the inhabitants of the NecroVerse had to learn how to survive with the few materials they had, which taught them to stick only to your most trusted compatriots. After the Connection, this ideology has lessened over time as people have realized ways for connected sustainability, but some stubborn traditionalists have been trying to get the NecroVerse as a whole to disconnect from the Multiverse.

Tourism

The most likely reason anyone would travel to the NecroVerse would be to engage in illicit activities or trade.
