The Dragondog Inn

The Dragondog Inn appears run down and neglected on the outside with its weather-worn timber walls, crumbling stone foundation, and rusted iron fixtures. An old creaking sign shaped like a gnarled orange dragon circles listlessly above the front door in the dusty wind. But step inside to find a warm, sprawling interior all alight from a great central hearth and floating mage flames around the beamed rafter ceilings. A motley mix of travelers, merchants, and ship hands fill common benches and crowd the L-shaped wraparound bar crafted from a silver dragon's spine. Tattered shields, crossed swords, and mementos from across the planes adorn the walls alongside mounted hunting trophies, helms, and a selection of spelljamming wheels and rudder vanes. The food is hearty, the drink flows freely, and old Zarel the current innkeeper runs a tight ship - keeping order through her piercing glower, threats of transmutation spells, and the hulking figure of her eldritch-pact Rune Knight bouncer when glowers fail to suffice. For all its rough edges, for a weary Ontarian crew or transient planewalkers, the Dragondog presents an affordable, if unpredictable, respite between voyages.   The Dragondog Inn: Oasis of Comfort in Zaharra Nestled within the heart of Zaharra, the Dragondog Inn stands as a beacon of respite amid the bustling city.
