Declan Sals (a.k.a. The Oathbreaker, The Betrayer)
Among the first to answer Matthias de Culville's call for adventurers, Declan Sals is a human paladin who once owed an oath to Bahamut, The Platinum Dragon.
During his travels across The New World, Declan came to make a deal with the necromancer Farristin Firahel, agreeing to aid one another in establishing their respective demesnes. Shorty after completing his end of the bargain, Declan met his end when he and his party were attacked by Ankegs while traveling through the The Green Expanse. Feeling indebted to the fallen paladin, Farristin Firahel swore fealty to Alejandro in return for the means needed to resurrect Declan. After his resurrection, Declan broke his oath to Bahamut in order to declare his loyalty to the necromancer who gave him a second chance at life
Declan Sals now serves as the right hand of Farristin Firahel and acts as the Captain of the Guard for the The Amber Archives.
